President's Message
It is with enthusiasm and a strong desire to strengthen and unify opticianry in Connecticut that The Society of Connecticut Opticians has been reignited. Our goal is to build a stronger bond in our profession, offer interesting education opportunities and help give a renewed sense of pride in what we do. In order for our profession to stay strong, we need to invest the time in mentoring our apprentices as well as our opticianry students. We need to stay informed of the changes in our industry and share that information with our colleagues. Know that as life post pandemic continues to evolve, so will SOCO. We are here to continue to work together and offer help, support and encouragement to those of us in the industry. I know I speak for our entire executive board when I thank you for your support and membership.
